and we dove right in.

we went to trader joes over the weekend and bought some stuff so we can dig in to eating with C and feeding him solids! we bought carrots, squash and sweet potatoes - all things i don't eat myself so it was kind of trial and error when it came to making these sweet potatoes for him. we peeled the potato in some water and cut it into spear wedges before placing them on a cookie sheet. i sprinkled on some olive oil on all of them and some light cinnamon on a few of them. i had no idea how C would like these, but i think he definitely enjoyed himself!

when did my baby get so big?!
{i know, i say that A LOT around these woods. you might as well just start taking a shot every time}

  4. Love the idea of no clothes or bib..just naked baby! I should do that for every meal because T just makes a HUGE mess...and lots of it end up on the floor. Thank gosh for a dog to clean it up!

    I'm drunk if we are playing a drinking game ;)

  8. Dear C,
    You are growing entirely too fast. Big kid foods shouldn't even be a blip on your cute little radar. Please slow down a little.
    Love you!
    P.S. Even though there's no way you should be ready for this milestone you certainly adorable while doing it!

  10. A girlfriend of mine would put one fruit, and one or two veg into food processor (separately). Then put them into separate ice cube trays and freeze a weeks worth. She'd heat up the veg, and serve the fruit cool (like an ice cream treat). Her baby loved it! I can't wait to try that... when the time comes!!
