cruise wear: swimsuits

cruise swimsuits

i can not BELIEEEEEVE how expensive swimsuits are becoming! in another life, id be a designer and learn how to whip one of these bad boys up all by myself. for our upcoming cruise and the summer in general, im fairly certain ill be rocking a one piece. because, you know… having a baby + a c-section just requires one when your skin hangs low like a hot set of balls.

i am loving the look of that sporty rashguard with a pair of black bikini bottoms to keep from getting sun burned but then theres the thought of dying from heat exhaustion if you aren't in the water all the live long day. and something tells me we'll spend lots of time in the kitty pool thats probably a whopping one inch deep. {WHOOHOOO!}
i can never turn away from anything nautical. navy and anchors? where do i sign.
the criss cross halter is KEY for big boobies. i need me one a those.
the stripe suit with shorts is kind of sporty too. it looks better on the model than it does by itself, but i like that the bottoms are shorts. which i would have hated in a past life… (the past life that included flawless skinny legs. now they're thick, flabby and stretch marked UP).
the color block suit is a pure classic. i love everything about it!
but that floral peplum… think about how nicely that would hide a muffin top!

there are so many choices.

i must get to shoppin'.

  2. One pieces do me no justice unfortunately. I'm short and have a long torso and they're just not cute. :( I do however LOVE the color block suit. It's super cute

  5. Lady, you are WAAAAAAY to hard on yourself. You are a smokin' hot mom, and could rock any swim suit you chose to wear. At LEAST TRY on a 2-piece!!
    With that said, I love the navy and anchors. :)

  6. I am loving a one piece suit lately, no more sucking it in and I think the options are so much more fun than they used to be! P.S. TJ Maxx and Marshall's often have great, inexpensive options for suits!

  8. I really like that color block one. And that peplum one would be so cute on you. But I agree swimsuits are way too expensive.

  10. I need to get me a potato sack to swim in this summer. I'm hoping that people are too busy noticing my little chunker in her teeny bikini to notice me!

  12. Cute choices! I find Ralph Lauren one-piece suits to be SOO cute and flattering. They are pretty much all I buy. And I agree, a halter top is key for big boobs!
